From the Heart: III International Mail Art Call, Móstoles 2022, Spain

DE CORAZÓN • FROM THE HEART
III International Mail Art Call

With truth, security and affection: FROM THE HEART. The heart as the centre. The heart as a driving force. The heart as a motor. The heart as a value. When falsehood, uncertainty and resentment try to triumph excessively in our daily lives, our best weapon (soul) beats strongly in our chest and it is enough to listen and dance to its personal rhythm, with our hearts in our hands.

It tells us about places and our relationship with them, but also about our existence, our emotions, our human and emotional relationships, our relationship with the world and the people who inhabit it, the physical and the virtual,... at a vital moment in which the idea of distance and the idea of location have to be rethought, walking forward. Mailart arrives from Antonia Mayol Castello, Spain

Break through the dark
a bright trail;
advances and is consumed
its long wandering gleam.

I follow the light that flees
like a moth to clarity;
that beat overwhelms me
In the empty vastness

In that instant I understand
the smallness of my world;
my fragile body, in the dark,
It is an aimless speck
CALENDULA:
Warm color,
smell in the hands,
sun essence.
Forest (photography).
Thank you Antonia.

New Year greeting cards from Antonia Mayol Castello, Spain

Periplo
Inside me
in the dark vastness
unattainable.
Ascending,
eclipsing planets,
satellites and asteroids.
I observe,
subtle star lights,
the rhythmic flickering of the pulsars.
And finally, I dissolve myself
in nothing ambiguous
of a black hole.
Thank you Antonia.
Best wishes for 2020.
